Session 5.47 for November 24, 2013
Today's text is full of beautiful imagery that reminds us of important events in the history of ancient Israel. In it, the prophet Jeremiah is frustrated with the kings of Judah because they have failed to care for God's people. Jeremiah is frustrated because these leaders have nurtured division and have allowed the people to lose connection with one another. What divisive activities do we participate in today? How can we foster unity and hope?
