Session 3.47 for November 20, 2011
Our scripture for today is a brief, but significant psalm of praise that reminds us who God is and what our response to God ought to be. This psalm was likely sung by the ancient Israelites during the Festival of Booths, which was a time of thanksgiving, held at the autumn harvest. This was also a time when they gave thanks for God’s protection during their years of wandering in the desert.
